Hot Springs
Umpqua Hot
Springs ~ Located east of Roseburg, OR, Umpqua is my favorite hot
springs in the area. There are multiple hot pools set upon a travertine
(mineral buildup from the hot springs) cliff overlooking the river.
There's pristine forest surrounding the hot springs with trails for
hiking. At night, there are small plants along the trail that glow in
the dark. This area is rich with wild mushrooms if you know where to
look. Across the river there is camping and there are two restrooms
nearby. People at this spot usually go European (nude).
