Building an affordable do-it-yourself fence

Preliminary planning phase: I went on-line and searched for how to build a fence and how to build a goat shelter. I found great articles on www.Ehow.com with simple steps that made me feel like I can do this! 

Collecting fencing materials: I went to my local Home Depot and Dell's Feed and Farm Supply and found the affordable materials I need to get started:

8' high cherry wood posts for $2.99 a piece
cement/concrete mix
bucket
hole digger shovel
level
ssdwooden stakes to mark out the fence
twine
measuring tape
wire fencing at about $1 a foot
